Cathy enjoys working as an artist and bringing joy to people's lives with her illustrations and caricatures. Originally from Chicago, she moved to New York City to live life as an artist. The Big Apple taught her how to be professionally polished, meet deadlines and have an upbeat attitude. Years of freelancing have lead her to various clients including: Amazon.com, American Airlines, Barnes and Noble.com, Citibank, Highlights for Children Magazine, HSBC, London City Airport, Scholastic, WEBEX and charities such as The New York Rangers Charity Events at Madison Square Garden, Ice Hockey for Harlem and Race for the Cure in Central Park (NYC). Cathy also has had years of experience working in product development and licensing. With her knowledge and expertise in the licensing industry, Cathy understands the business from an artist and company’s perspective regarding the following: developing and managing a brand, seeking out potential licensees, negotiating contracts, handling brand management, creating marketing and sale opportunities, and getting product to the retail shelf.
